Consuming a lot of sodium makes you feel bloated and increases your water weight. Salt in food and packaged goods make you a pound heavier in the morning so avoid salty snacks before you go to bed. The best snacks are still fruits and nuts.

3. Drink TONS of water

Obviously, drinking a ton is an exaggeration, but most people drink less than they should. The sweat and energy you los during the day returns when you drink water. Make up for your body’s dehydration by drinking two glasses of water, 2-3 hours before going to bed, and one glass before you sleep.

4. Prepare Your Lunch for the Next Day

Eating lunch at restaurants adds more calories than you think. Making your lunch before you sleep encourages you to eat healthier. When you cook for dinner, add little extra ingredients for next day’s lunch!

5. A Cool and Dark Bedroom is Good for You

To get the best results, improve your quality of sleep! When you keep your bedroom dark and cold, you improve your quality of sleep by giving your body the environment it needs for optimal rest. Hide your gadgets and turn off your television to sleep without any distractions.

6. Plan Your Breakfast

If you plan your breakfast, you’re more likely to eat healthy for the rest of the day. Planning your meals gives you an edge against unexpected cheat days. Breakfast is SO EASY to prepare which is why it’s exciting to plan. Get creative and make your tummy happy with healthy meals.

7. Say NO to Alcohol and Coffee

Did you know you disrupt your quality of sleep by drinking coffee 6 hours before you go to bed? Caffeine and alcohol mess up your time of rest, but if you’re the type who works well with coffee, you know your body best.
